DAY 1
Transfer from the hotel to cross the border into Jordan. Arrive to Amman to visit the capital of Jordan, both as the seat of government and as the chief economic and cultural center of the country. A rapidly growing and changing city, Amman is a fascinating blends of old and new. Two important ancient sites in Amman are the site of the citadel, the ancient military fortifications of the city from ancient times, and the Roman Amphitheater, still being used today for musical and theatrical events. Transfer to Madaba is the most famous for the mosaic map of the Holy Land from 6th century located in St. George’s church, after Madaba proceed to Mount Nebo According to the Bible, and proceed to Mount Nebo According to the Bible, Mt. Nebo is the place where the prophet Moses died and was buried. Today it is the site of a series of Byzantine chapels and memorials, as well as a monastery. Then transfer to Petra Hotel.

DAY 2
After Breakfast in the hotel transfer to visit Petra “the rose red city” of the southern deserts of Jordan, is one of a kind. The magnificently carved city of stone monuments takes the breath away with its magnitude, and ancient endurance. Just as these carvings have survived on the face of ancient stone cliffs for 2,000 years, they remain etched in the memory of all who behold them. This ancient Nabatean city is accessed through the Siq, a long, winding, and narrow gorge, one of the most famous ancient views in the world. It is a winding, one-kilometer-long fissure between overhanging cliffs that seem to meet more than 300 feet overhead. Near the end of the passage, the SIQ, with great style, makes one last turn and out of the gloom in towering brightness appears Petra’s most impressive monument, el Khazneh – The Treasury. This is one of the most elegant remains of antiquity, carved out of the solid rock from the side of the mountain, is nearly 140 feet high and 90 feet wide. Beyond el Khazneh the visitor is surrounded on both sides by hundreds of Petra’s carved and built structures, soaring temples, elaborate royal tombs, a carved Roman theatre, large and small houses, burial chambers and much more. The Victorian traveler and poet, Dean Burgon, gave Petra a description, which holds to this day – “Match me such a marvel save in Eastern clime, a rose-red city half as old as time. Departure to Arava border. After passport formalities, arrive in Eilat the beautiful resort town built on the shores of the Red Sea.
